Two Long Lines of Dancers with Gentlemen on Left, Ladies on Right (p.o.v. facing Band) Every other couple will be Active or Dancing (Couple 1s,) and remaining couples act as Corners (Couple 2s.) Roles switch upon reaching end of the line and waiting 1 turn.
All couples face their partner. Active Couple set (with a hip bump) and cast down one place
Active Man leads Lady up middle and presents to 1st corner (up) and then turns to face his 1st corner (down)
Active Couple sets to their 1st corner and turns RH (Policeman’s halt,) spinning until they catch their partner's LH, keeping corner's RH. This forms a diagonal line across the set.
Active Couple then pushes off the corner's RH and swings around with both hands ("Boing")
Active Couple repeats above steps with 2nd corner: Active Man presenting partner to her 2nd corner (down) and turns to his own 2nd corner (up). and turns RH (Policeman’s halt,) spinning until they catch their partner's LH, keeping corner's RH. This forms the opposite diagonal line across the set. Active Couple then pushes off the corner's RH and swings around with both hands ("Boing")
They rejoin their lines, Man places Lady between the ladies and goes back to the Men, one place down from where they started.
All join hands and Circle 4 traveling steps to right and 4 back
Repeat
It is important to note that just as the Active Couple will be dancing with two corners, each corner will be supporting 2 Active Couples, first coming from the Right, then from the Left. It is crucial for them to stay vigilant.
Once an Active Couple (also called Couple #1 gets to the bottom of the line, they become Corners (also called Couple #2) In a similar fashion, when Couple #2 gets to the top, they become a Couple #1 after waiting out 1 turn.
