Dashing White Sergeant (standard version)
Groups of three facing all, forming an oval around dance floor
Lines of three facing each other (1 Man between 2 Ladies or 1 Lady between 2 Men)
All six hold hands in a circle.
Take four traveling steps to left and four back again
Center man/lady sets to person on right (set, clap, 2-hand turn)
Set to the person on the left (set, clap, 2-hand turn)
Figure of 8 on each line of 3. Middle person starts walking to person on Right, passing shoulder to shoulder, until everyone is back in place.
Each line join hands and advances towards other line, stamps feet 3x and retreats, clap 3x
Both lines advance again, one line raising hands to allow the other line to pass through and face new line.
REPEAT with next lines facing you etc.
